    rolling shutters
  • (Rolling Shutter) A way to control the timing of a image sensor frequently used in consumer CMOS image sensors. The exposure (integration) time is controlled by a slit aperture that scans over the pixel array.

  • (Rolling shutter) Rolling shutter (also known as line scan) is a method of image acquisition in which each frame is recorded not from a snapshot of a single point in time, but rather by scanning across the frame either vertically or horizontally.

  • (Rolling Shutter) The term 'Rolling Shutter' only refers to CMOS sensor technology. In a “rolling shutter” sensor the start and end of exposure on each row or column or individual pixel happens sequentially and it typically takes a time equal to 1/frame rate for all of the pixels on the sensor

    aluminum
  • Aluminum was the second album from NYC band Gods Child, littered with damaged guitars, distressed mellotron, and raw vocals. Produced by Tim Palmer (who has worked with such acts as Pearl Jam, Sponge, and Mission UK) the album features a spaced-out aura, solid musicianship and soaring sonics.

  • Aluminium ( ) or aluminum ( ) is a silvery white member of the boron group of chemical elements. It has the symbol Al and its atomic number is 13. It is not soluble in water under normal circumstances.

  • The chemical element of atomic number 13, a light silvery-gray metal

Rollette by G.A. Krauss, 1920s

G.A. Krauss (Gustav Adolf Krauss) was Stuttgart's first camera retailer in 1895, manufactured cameras1924–1934. The Rollette is folding roll-film camera For 5?7.5cm on 129 film. Very compact, the camera is 5" x 2.625" x1" when folded.

Rollinar-Anastigmat 9cm f/6.8 in a dial-set Compur 3 -speed shutter.

Infinity stop-notch and slide focus to 1m. The camera features a wire-frame sport finder with a small retracting eyepiece. The key-wind was bent and had plier marks. I straighted and smoothed/polished the key-wind handle as well as I could without polishing off all the nickel plate. The brass locking wheel on the top was probably originally enameled black. I couldn't see any holes in the bellows. An all-metal film spool is included. The shaft appears to be machined aluminum.

Shutter works at all speeds; aperture moves smoothly; optics needed cleaning, but seem to be in excellent condition. This is from a friend's estate. I believe his parents brought this from Germany when the emigrated to the U.S.
